Best Hibachi in Naperville

I love this place! There is no other hibachi place where the food is better. The fried rice is the absolute best that I have tasted to date. The chefs are fun and interact with the guests throughout the cooking show.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. This has been my favorite restaurant for 30 years. I’m glad they haven’t changed a thing. We love when Andy is our chef. Staff is always great. It’s just sooo good!!

Amazing place for Japanese food lovers. Huge place that can fit around 50 people at a time. Skilled chef, excellent staff, clean grill and great service makes dining experience great. Sharing tables with random people provides good opportunity.

This place is great! Have been a customer since 1986. My family and I love the food and atmosphere. They truly are friendly and welcoming. You get alot of food. And it's delicious. We will continue going back again and again.

I’ve been here 12 years ago and remember the food and service always great, I brought my newer family members and got the same great food and service I remembered as a kid. If anything the place has gotten even better with experience.

What's not to love? A small restaurant, but big on food, fun, and family. Been coming to Shogun for many years whether just because or to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. The staff are always friendly regardless if there are a few patrons or a full house. The chefs are great at entertaining the guests and keeping conversation and fun going! The food is phenomenal with many options. Always get extra noodles, you won't regret it. If you're up for it, try the egg yolk and garlic, again I don't think you'll regret it. Oh, and order a sake bomb... 😝 We always go home with left overs and full, happy bellies. We hope to keep coming back for many years to come. By the looks of all the pictures on the wall from celebrations of years past, I don't think they will be going anywhere any time soon...

Been coming here since my grown boys were babies. Birthday pics get taped to the walls and the big Pic you take home. Chefs are fun and the filet and shrimp with special "golden sauce" is worth the trip. Great family place.

We've been going here for about 16 years now. We worried that the pandemic would shut their doors but they survived! Andy is our chef! He makes the going their worth while. His positive attitude, his cooking style. He enjoys hosting his customers. The other staff as well do a fantastic job. I wish we were closer but always worth the drive.

Been coming here since 2004ish. Was introduced from a buddy and in turn introduced many other others. Hands down the best Japanese steak house have ever found in the states. For anyone that has ate there or is about too, make sure you add the garlic to rice and noodles. Its a game changer. Also always order double noodles they are that good. Egg yok over the shrimp with garlic is delicious. Don't let the egg yok scare you. It did me for the first few times and regretted later. Make sure to tell Andy Joe sent ya!

Since there was just two of us and it was packed we were seated with another couple and then a family of four. It was the best time ever!! We laughed so much with these complete strangers and had so much fun with our chef and service staff. It was our first time there and in our opinion it was better than Shinto's or DOMO 77. The food was so flavorful and the portions were generous. I loved that they cooked the noodles and rice first so we could eat it with our meats.

Been a loyal customer for more than 30 years. Food is always good and while I can't find them am in multiple pics on the walls.
